Desperate with modified msgina.dll

Hi, im having trouble with modified msgina.dll file as I tried to replace the login image. I followed the sticked post to modify the file and used modifyPE.exe to pack the dll into d_, then replaced the original one in i386 folder with the modified file. I also disabled the WFP and having a modified uxtheme.dll installed and worked fine. However when the installation completed all i see is that original image staring at me

I searched the whole forum and made several changes in the reg file and other places where i suppose have nothing to do with it, since I changed the msgina.dll file and replaced the old one, there is no way windows would somehow find the orginal back, right? I am using Virtual PC to test the ISO, hope this has nothing to do with it. can someone please help a desperate man? thx in advance!
