Win2k3 .. UXTheme problem, I think

I installed a fresh installation of w2k3 .. everything was ok .. installed all the updates all the drivers .. cool?

downloaded the latest uxtheme patcher from windowsx.com .. cool?

the patch prompted to restart (this isnt the first time ive used it but on winxp) it worked like a charm when i restarted .. i got my theme to work everything was cool .. i went to the display panel to change my background i changed it fine .. but after that i ran display panel again .. and all the tabs disapeared .. is this a uxtheme.dll problem .. iam using 4790 release (the normal release one) this use to happen before on xp but on the advanced panel where u find the nvidia option and where u can change the refresh rate .. the tabs use to disapear there on xp sometimes ..

anyone faced this problem ? any ideas on how to fix it? i tried unpatching .. repatching didnt work
