Can't download

Featured Replies

I have a number of problems that appear related (and started after I downloaded the latest versions of Netscape an Mozilla).

1. I can't get .NEt to download from the update site.

2. No program will download when I chick on the link on the internet

3. Media player won't work when I click on an internet link - it just starts up but nothing else happens.

Any help would be appreciated - I have XP Home edition.

hmm... what have you installed lately? any new programs that may have effected these things?

Also, when downloading an update from windows update, why can't you download it, does it give some kind of error?

and i couldn't understand what you meant in the 2nd one :)

The second problem should have read "no program will download when I chick on the link on the internet". I just get a blank screen with a place holder in the upper left hand corner - has now been fixed.
