Readiosys Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Hi guys,I am using Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition.I have a little (but annoying) problem with Outlook Express : I can't read HTML emails. If people send me html mails, they look like they were plain text.Instead, I have the html file as an attachment.I checked the security (and many others) settings and I see nothing to change this behavior ?Do you know how to enable reading html mails in Outlook Express (srv-03)Thanks !
Aaron Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Go to Tools > Options > Read, and uncheck Read all messages in plain text. That should sort it P.S. Reading mails in plain text is a good security measure.
Readiosys Posted April 30, 2004 Author Posted April 30, 2004 Man, how could I miss it !!!I was rather searching on the security options...Thanks for the advice regarding security, I know that too, but I only receive email from trusted users at work and we have a powerful antivirus solution, so the risk is rather slim. We also receive data emails that are html formatted and they look like crap and are not readable at all in plain text. Thanks again.
