Gerry Peters Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 (edited) I have an ADAPTEC 2940W/UW SCSI CARD installed on my Win 10 64 bit computer. When I boot up it shows up when I hit Control-A. My Akai sampler also shows up there. When it boots to Win 10 desktop, I have Millennium, which is a program designed to interface with my Akai and allows me to save and load presets and samples from the computer to and from my Akai. When I open Millennium, it says "couldn't initialize ASPI". I understand Win 10 doesn't support ASPI yet there is 3rd party driver that does - FrogASPI.rar I have it downloaded but don't know what to do from here to make this work. IN my Win XP computer, all this has worked for many years. This is a different Win 10 computer in an attempt to retire my XP computer. Any suggestions? Edited October 29, 2024 by Gerry Peters
mshultz Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Just download the version that is already named wnaspi32.dll from this site: http://www.frogaspi.org/download.htm. That being said, I'm not sure this program is compatible with a 64 bit operating system.
