ok..im testing an Invision Board portal i downloaded and at the very top i get this error

An error occured whilst processing this directive

Could not get the information from the database

and i found where it is in the code

if ( ! $DB->get_num_rows() )
	{
  fatal_error("Could not get the information from the database");
	}

it is in portal.php and right above where it creates the member bar...but im not sure how to fix this problem

any ideas?

Hey Akafree,

Can you give me a link where you downloaded the portal so i can check it out and help you.. because i don't know what you need to do to install the portal which makes it very hard to tell what to do...

we talked on msn and fixed it

it was the simplest thing, there were no posts in the forum set as the forum to fetch the news from...

Now its all good
