Taskbar icons for Open Apps - get too wide

I was messing around with the settings for StartisBack tonight and suddenly the icons on my taskbar of open programs got really wide. If I close the programs they go back to the normal size. But this never happened before and I don't want it to happen but I can't find any setting to change it back!  Could someone please help?  Thanks so much!
