Elliot77
Disabling indexing by the method of right-clicking on the system drive, I am receiving multiple error messages with the error windows entitled "Error Applying Attributes". There are multiple files that are causing this same error to be displayed, some of them which are "swapfile.sys. Alphabet.xml, & dao360.dll". Disabling indexing is being tried from an administrator account upon a fresh reboot on an almost new Win10 PC with very few changes to it. Can all of these errors simply be skipped/ignored? Or should these files be able to be included in the de-indexing process somehow? Edited May 19, 2020 by Elliot77
azajali43
Fix: error applying attributes: Firstly take ownership of file. Check the appropriate permission. Check the file is encrypted. And create a new user account. Run microsoft safety scanner. At the last recover files from the windows older folder.
