What happen about login interface frozen when use UEFI loader？

I can use Ctrl+Alt+Del to launch Task Manager and restart explorer.exe to fix it. But I don't know why. When I drop the EFI Loader, it back to normal. 

The UEFI Loader is from Longhorn 5219 (I know it in BetaArchive Forum)

XP is NT 5.1 (32 BIT)
