RPC Error Upon Windows Initial Start

OK I could really do with some suggestions now, because this is driving me nuts.

Every variation of an unattended XP install has had the same problem. My latest attempt consisted of SP1 with Gosh's method for slipstreaming the rollup.

Below is my Winnt.sif file, which I think is pretty run of the mill.

Even with this seemingly simple XP install, i get the following error when Windows first starts.

An error occurred during the installation of this device.The RPC server is unavailable.

Internet Explorer is not installed either for some reason, probably due to problems listed below.

Additionally these file errors are returned in setuperr.log.

I shall now attempt just an SP1 Unattended install with drivers using my winnt.sif file. So if anyone can offer suggestions as to why I am getting such hassle from a lousy unattended install, I'll be extremely grateful.
