PorlyBe
Hi all,Just wondering if there is a faster way to get hotfixes installed... (ie. Integrate it withe the install like SP1 or KB826939 security rollup)At the moment when i install windows using ONLY the hotfixes in AaronXP's hotfix thread, it sits at T-13 for ages untill its all done (i do have dx9, wmp & mm2 in there aswell but either way it still takes ages)just a thoughtedit - apologies Greenmachine

Aaron
tried the /O switch for all type 1 hotfixes?
GreenMachine
Thanks, PorlyBe, for cleaning that up. There is not really a clean or orthodox way to completly slipstream the hotfixes into the XP distribution, and avoid running the actual installers as well. As AaronXP says, you should add the /O switch for speed (XPCREATE does). There have been different posts for slipstreaming different updates (DX9, WMP9, ...), but I have not tried them: just seen a few threads with those titles.
