IBM ServRaid

I have a have a IBM 8647-4AX with ServRaid 5i and 3-36g drives. Trying to install either w2k server or w3k standard server. I am unable to get the os installed. The system hangs, reboots, blue screens even fails during installation. Have had numerous calls with ibm and had most of the system replaced by ibm. Any suggestions? Without the 5i installed the os loads ok. Have also tried a ServRaid 6i.

The correct IBM ServeRAID drivers are not included on the W2K or 2003 install CDs.

Did you try hitting F6 during the start of the OS install and try providing the correct ServeRAID drivers on a floppy?

I have never used an xSeries 225 but I'd imagine that it's really no different than the x335s that I use...

This is what I use to get the 5i to work on my systems (I've only ever used a 5i with a x345 though)
