izoor Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 I made some changes to shell32 and i copy it to my unattended cd but when I install winxp it shows old shell32 so, what is my problem ?
Aaron Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 I assume you still have the old shell32.dl_ in there, by default Windows XP Setup uses the compressed versions. So delete it if you want to use your modified shell32.dll, or compress it with makecab and overwrite the old shell32.dl_.

Aaron Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 Well if you have replaced them properly, there is no way the old shell32.dll could appear - because it no longer exists on the CD.
