hello,

i want to deploy XPpro from a network share on a 2003 server... I want to deploy XPpro to machines with NTFS-partitions, no cd-drives and sometimes no floppy drives...

What should i do, i tried to create a bootdisk which would provide me a mapping to the share, but i didn't got it right... really getting desperate because the other problem with bootdisks is that even with a cd-rom player i couldn't install because the XPpro installation doesn't see the NTFS partition...

I'm outta options and really want to make some progress...

P.S. when there was 2000 on a machine and i ran unattended.bat from the share the installation worked perfectly...

i want to add to this just to make clear what my intentions really are...

I want to use the Windows XP unattended installation from a network distribution share. I want to be able to go to each workstation and boot with a network floppy/usb stick to begin the installation.

And really the only problem that i have is the floppy/usb-stick that enables me to boot the system and install XPpro
