No NtpClient under TimeProviders

Featured Replies

Hi,

I want to configure my 2008R2 to sync to an external NTP server. Following all the docs I found, I need to enable the NtpClient in the registry : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient\

The problem is : I don't have this key in the registry. The "TimeProviders" key is empty. And no rights to add new keys. What do I miss ? Is there something unexplained to install ?

Welcome to the dark side ;)
