Hi

 

I thought my first post should be here.  I joined a few windows forums mostly to learn

about the newer operating systems and software.  My main computer still runs XP but

we have a couple of laptops with windows 7 on them.  One thing I've been trying to

determine is if I should upgrade to Windows 8 even without a touch screen.

 

Meanwhile, I have done quite a bit of reading.  One thing I noticed was that whenever

someone posts a link, I do not seem to have the permission to view it.  I hope to

discover the reason for this so I can remedy the situation.  Maybe I need X amount of

posts first.  I have this problem in some other places also.

 

Usually don't post unless I can contribute.  This place is pretty advanced so I will try

to get up to speed.

I'm trying to do my first post again.  First time I had some kind of SQL error.
