npfd Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 (edited) Hi there, I need some help with identifying some failed startup issues with Windows 8.1.I've done lots of formatting, trying out different drivers, uninstalling, but I still get errors like Kernel Power Errors, Kernel Boot, Previous system shutdown was unexpected... (errors in event viewer). But I still get these errors on boot in the event viewer.Source: kernel-bootevent id: 29Level: ErrorUser: SystemSource: Kernel-BootWindows failed fast startup with error status 0xC00000D4.event id: 6008Level: ErrorUser: SystemSource: EventLogThe previous system shutdown at 2:16:42 AM on 11/14/2013 was unexpected.event id: 41Level: CriticalUser: SystemSource: Kernel-PowerThe system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.I've rma'ed bunch of componenets, tested out ram, etc... in touch with Asus. support.. done the SFC check... multiple times. With faststartup on, it takes about a minute to cold boot. When I shut off faststartup it boots up fine. I've attached the shutdown, boot, and hibernation, if anyone can have a look at it please. Thank you again for any help errors in more details in kernel_errors.summary_Boot.xmlsummary_hibernation.xmlsummary_shutdown.xmlkernel_errors.txt Edited November 16, 2013 by npfd
