Any obvious reason for svcpack.inf to now work?

I have 2 PCs, both running XP SP1 with the RU1 integrated (at least it was when I made the cd), and I just installed it on this pc and ran Windows Update and it said RU1 (823696 or something?) not installed (230kb or so), yet, as far as I know, it is the same i386 directory for both pcs.

Do I worry about redoing the cd, or isn't it worth it, because SP2 is out sometime soon?
