i'm just wondering what is the differents of this 2 commands

REGEDIT /S vs. REG IMPORT

what is the most applicable command

For unattended installations explained on the main site REG ADD allows environment variables to be used for RunOnceEx, whereas a reg file has to use a fixed drive letter.

Stick to reg files for registry tweaks, and REG ADD for resolving an environment variable to a fixed drive letter to the registry.
