ShinVon Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 My svchost.exe process at one point or another its memory will slowly start to increase over time and if left running will reach over 1,000,000 K. This is not normal for this computer as its a couple years old.
MagicAndre1981 Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Download ProcessExplorer and hover with the mouse over the svchost.exe entry. Which services are started by this svchost.exe?

allen2 Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Try this MS Technet article to separate the services running in this process and know which one is the culprit. Off course, you'll have to re-set them as shared after.
