Windows XP Dell laptop

Hi.

My laptop is wirelessly connnected. No problem there.

But when I try to open a web page, it just processes for a minute, then stops. I cannot get online.

Help???

This started when I pulled the plug of a wired network out of the laptop and then connected it to the wireless. Could no longer pull up a website.
