VBS to shut down the screen?

I've been looking on the internet for a command or a script that can put my monitor on standby...

I don't want to use the power management tool.

I have a wireless keyboard (I don't use a mouse most of the time)

and when I go to sleep I want an easy way to put my screen on standby without having to shut it off manually

please help
