BSOD - CRSS.exe - 0x000000F4

I'm having trouble with BSOD's. It's always with error 0x000000F4 but it happens at random times.

check the RAM with memtest86+ and if the RAM is ok, check the HDD with chkdsk /r /f.

Also the Corsair RAM (CMX4GX3M2B1600C9) is not listed on the memory list of your ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3:

Do you have other RAM to test? also what are the timings of the RAM? Post the CPU-Z screenshots of the SPD and memory tab, please.

As the csrss crash might be coming from intelppm.sys, it could be that the processor was too hot because it was also running at 3.5Ghz most likely you have overclocked it.

I would avoid overclocking it for the time being and see this happen again.

I've checked the RAM with Memtest 2 times. It passed 7 times.

I've checked my SSD, no errors.

I haven't overclocked my processor. It runs at 3,4 Ghz with a temperature of 32 degrees Celcius.

the values match. Maybe it is a RAM compatibility issue. Do you have other RAM to test? Try one which is listed on the on the ASRock page as compatible.

It's not 2006, so 3.5 is almost nothing. Roughly 3.5 is likely stock with many processors now lol.

It's amazing how far we are with processors now.

I've changed the memory modules with KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX (Kingston). I didn't have any blue screens until today.

It's the same blue screen as before.

What to do?

do the memory timings match? Try to increase the RAM voltage a bit.
