Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Fi

Hi,

My company is upgrading to Office 2K10 at this time. Some PCs will not be upgraded due to compatibility issues with third party apps. The Office compatibility pack will be installed on these machines in the meantime. What I read on the Microsoft download site for the pack was "Please install all High-Priority updates from Microsoft Update before downloading the Compatibility Pack". I want to make doubly sure of which updates they are talking about - is it just those for the Office packages or is it referring to all high priority updates from Microsoft?

I think it is mostly office updates but could also be related to gdi windows update.

Either way it should be easily deployed and not cause problems as long as you're using at least Office 2003 SP3.
