How to use SCSI hardware for installing win98

Featured Replies

Firstly hi everyone,

I want to use an old machine for old dos games and nostalgia :) . I found a p3 hp computer in our junkyard and i want to install win98 on it but computer completely have scsi hardware (cdrom and hdd) and i dont know how to install os on it.

First i think get a ide cdrom and using a win98 boot image with scsi dos drivers. If i get cdrom and hdd defined, i ll use scsi or ide cd drive to start installation under dos. but im worrying about after reboot does machine will boot from scsi hdd.

or any method to slipstream scsi drivers to installation cd?

Thanks

Yakup.

You should try the bootdisk located there and if it works then you'll only have to create a new boot cd for scsi cdrom. You shouldn't need to replace the scsi cdrom as it should be able to boot.
