strange language bar problem

when using the windows language bar changed to japanese it doesnt display english in menus

im also getting a japanese character in paths instead of \

dont seem to know whats going on help please.

Fixed it.

i had control panel

regional and language Options

advanced (tab)

language for non-Unicode programs = set to japanese changed it back to english (australia)

restarted the computer and im right now i have the menu options in english

i fell silly because its the only area i didnt look at.
