What is taking up my memory

Hi!

I noticed this a while ago. When I had out of memory problems. I made this screenshot of process explorer and added up the private bytes column for all tasks and I got ~1GB less then the what the committed memory usage shows. So what is using up the extra 1 GB of memory? How can I view everything that uses up memory, is there a memory map tool of some sort?

You can use rammap if your os is vista or higher and vmmap for XP or higher.

firefox, java, kmplayer and foobar use a lot of RAM.

Please download RAMMap [1][2] and run it when you have the high Memory usage. Now save the data as a RMP file. Zip the RMP file and upload the zip to mediafire.com and post a link here.
