I am looking for a way to force windows setup to look inside of a subfolder for its data to proceed with installation. Right now, it is prompting me for drivers because it is assuming that in order to access the data, it needs drivers. However, I just moved the installation files into a separate subfolder, and it can't find them. I am currently attempting to create a multi-boot external hard drive to install windows from. When complete, you will be able to boot up installers for Windows 7, Vista, XP (all editions), and Ubuntu. You will also be able to boot up the ultimate boot cd, a Linux LiveCD and BartPE. I have modified the boot configuration data file to point to this new folder for the 7 installer, and it boots up correctly. However when I get to the part when it starts looking for installation files, it stops there. Once I have a clue what i'm doing, I will share what I know so we can all benefit from this, but seeing as this isn't quite working yet, making a guide would be pointless. If you have any information that could help me change the point that the installer looks for files for Windows Vista (i'm going to assume it is the same) or XP, it would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.
