W7 Prefetch does not seem to be working.

MagicAndre1981, thanks, I need to do some thinking on the ramifications of Windows's declaring my HDD not needing optimization. Since it is a RAID of HDDs (mechanical) I think it should be optimized to gain better performance. BTW, since I restarted Superfetch service, it has not again been turned off. The WEI remains at 6.6 for the HDD. I am keeping an eye to see if the service will again be turned off. I will also spend more time looking at the references above. Enjoy, John.
