stryker14 Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) Hello. I've created an answer file for all the basic information needed for my install. I do not however know how to turn on the component installation for basic Internet Information Services (IIS) functionality. Any help for what to include in my answer file or what steps I need to take to activate this feature would be greatly appreciated.I'm installing Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 on a Virtual Machine. Guest Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 On your XP Pro CD you should find an archive named DEPLOY.CAB in the SUPPORT/TOOLS folder; it can also be downloaded from Microsoft. Within the archive is a file named ref.chm which contains detailed information on component installation through WinNT.sif and Unattend.txt. The components you should find most interesting are:iis_aspiis_commoniis_ftpiis_inetmgriis_internetdataconnectoriis_nntpiis_serversideincludesiis_smtpiis_webdaviis_www
