ITCrules Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Hi allI have a somewhat unusual system to support and it has Office 2003. On more than one occasion I have seen that when it crashes the .ASD files do NOT survive. I always thought that the Autorecovery was actually saving a file (and subsequently updating it at fixed intervals) so that a crash (of Office or the O/S) did not mean disaster. Can anyone confirm from experience that the Autorecovery files generated under 2007 or 2010 allow for recovery EVEN in a total crash & reboot scenario?
