UDTgirl Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 I'm currently in school and was putting my course CD in to look at the examples given, and it opened Access and a dialog comes up stating that "Access doesn't support opening HTML". It states that I either need to use IE or Access 2003 or earlier. I've installed the conversions from 2003 to 2007, so not sure what's going on. an someone help me please. Thanks!
ITCrules Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 So the CD autoruns something? You just put the CD in and the error appears? If that's the case, browse the CD and see if you spot a file called autorun.infOpen up Notepad and drag that file into the blank Notepad window and you should see the contents of that file.Copy 'n paste it here so we can see what is trying to execute. If that is NOT the case, then do you double click on any particular file to view it?In which case, considering the error refers to HTML, try opening a browser window and dragging that file into it.If it's an HTML file, you should get something. Besides an error.
