ryes31 Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Hi, I've been scouring the internet for the past 2 days and trying everything I can think of, but I can't get my Xbox 360 to access my PC via my home network. I've tried with and without Windows Media Center (as a Media Extender). This is the new slim Xbox 360 with built-in wireless capability and that's the main reason I got it, so I can stream wirelessly. Before this, I used to run the normal Xbox 360 direct via ethernet into my router and had NO problems streaming videos using Windows Media Player 11's library sharing. Now, I can't even get it to find the PC.Here are the specs--Desktop running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (direct ethernet into router)-Windows Media Player 12-Xbox 360 Slim (wireless)-Qwest modem/wireless routerI've enabled all the different sharing options I can find, turned off all firewalls completely, disabled the HomeGroup, and I still can't access the PC from the Xbox. However, when I view the full network map, it shows the Xbox 360 connecting to my wireless network. (see the attached JPEG image)Any ideas?? I'll try anything...I've been going at this ever since I got the new 360 and it's frustrating as hell. Thanks in advance!!
