WinPE folder sharing using IPV6?

Hi,

I have two vista PCs. configured with ip addresses

(Win7-1)2001::201f, and (Win7-2)2001::2122.

I shared one folder in Win7-1 PC.

I am able to access the folder from Win7-2 with the path named \\2001--201f.ipv6-literal.net\HaranadhShared

I am not able to access the same folder from the WinPE pc.

What are the things i need to setup for this access in WIN pe.

Do i need to install some driver etc? or do i need to do any pre requisites to make this to support for IPv6.

I am able to ping from Win-PE to my Win7-1 and Win7-2 from WIN-PE. But not able to map drive from network.

For mapping i am using the windows provided api and structures as follows WNetAddConnection2 and NETRESOURCE.

Any suggestion please share.

Hi,

I have two Win7-PCs. configured with ip addresses (Win7-1)2001::201f, and (Win7-2)2001::2122.

and One DHCPv6 server configured in WIN2008R2.

I am not able to get the automatic IPaddress from DHCPv6 server to WinPE pc.

But in my network for the WIN-7 PCs I am getting the IPv6 addresses from DHCPv6 server.

What are the things i need to setup for assigning ipv6 address automatically in WIN pe. Do i need to load any specific drivers etc? how do i verify all things are fine. I am able to ping using ipv6 address which i assigned to my WIN-PE environment to other WIN7 pc which in the same network. Is there any registry settings i need to do to make this ipv6 address getting automatically?

Any suggestion please share.
