7Customizer Boot Issues

For 7Customizer just put the program (7Customizer_0.4.4.rar) inside C:\ partition and Right click and choose: extract here (with WinRar): you must see only one folder C:\7Customizer_0.4.4 (and not 2 folders)!

Try to extract your ISO file with WinRar!

Can you see the Image info with?:

launch the command deploiement tools WAIK with admin rights and choose:

Updating path to include dism, oscdimg, imagex

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools\

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools\..\x86

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools\..\x86\Servicing;

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools>cd..

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools>cd amd64

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\amd64>imagex /info c:\seven\sources\install.wim

Far as I know its a valid copy of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate...looks like the disc via google image searche and the key allows me to connect for updates and passed the validation tool. When I put the disc in it looks like this.

If I run the disc normally it will show the "install" option then try to install the OS. I did make a ISO version of the OS to edit with vlite but I just extracted from the disc and put it in the seven folder.

Well I call MS and the key is valid and my copy of Windows seem legal on their end which is a big relief for me.

I can't select a "image" my only option is to select the CD or extract the CD to a folder.

You need to use "Windows AIK for Windows 7" with 7Customizer!

Windows AIK for Windows 7

Uninstall Windows AIK for Vista used by vLite!

Just extract all the files of your DVD Windows 7 inside one folder (seven), and lauch 7Customizer!

If you need a workaround for vLite and use Windows AIK for Windows 7, you can:

(found this idea on a French Web site and tested successfuly)

1- Install Windows AIK for Windows 7

2- Download and install vLite 1.1.6 (install first but don't launch!)

3- Download vLite final 1.2

4- Lauch vLite 1.2

vLite

You can also use 7Customizer!
