Looking for registry settings for View Source Editor button

Recommended Posts

I am looking for registry settings for View Source Editor "button" (icon/picture) on IE.

I have found the registry settings for selection of the application to view/edit webpages:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\View Source Editor\Editor Name]
@="d:\\Path\\file.exe"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Default HTML Editor\shell\edit\command]
@="\"d:\\Path\\file.exe\" \"%1\""

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared\HTML\Default Editor\shell\edit\command]
@="\"d:\\Path\\file.exe\" \"%1\""

But, I have not found the registry settings to control the "Icon/Picture" that appears on the View Source Editor "button" on IE.

For example:

1) I have "WinWord.exe" and "Notepad.exe" and other editors setup to edit .html pages

2) When I configure Microsoft-Word ("WinWord.exe") to edit webpages, the "Edit With" icon changes to a MSWord icon.

3) When I select any other editor, the "Edit With" icon changes to a "Default" icon.

Does anyone know how to control the picture that is displayed for the "Edit With" icon on IE ?

Thanks for your help.

Kevin
