Offline Files with Laptop problem

Hello

I have a strange problem on our XP / 2003 based domain. It seems to be whenever I login to a machine (im an administrator) everyone who logs into that machines starts to get messages saying "Adam" is offline. Adam is the name of one of the laptops on the network. It only says its offline if the laptop is switched off but it shouldnt be syncing with that laptop at all, nobody should.

Does anyone know how to turn this off?

As I said it only happens to me, and everyone who logs into a PC that I have been on.
