removing pop-up dialogs

I would like to eliminate the boxes that pop up whenever my cursor moves over an icon or other symbol in Windows, explaining what that icon does. It is annoying to me, it always seems to hide the icon so I can't see it to click on it. Can this function be disabled ?

Just to be sure, we are talking about those little yellow boxes with useless information, they look kinda like this

Just open up Regedit, and change the ShowInfoTip to 0. Here is the key.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
