LiverpoolChris
Hi, Appologies if i have posted this in the wrong section.I have got about 20 Toshiba Satellite Pro L450 with a REALTEK GbE & FE Ethernet PCI-E NIC Driver to image.I have created the image and uploaded it to our WDS server which worked fine. Now trying to deploy the image it gets to "Expanding Files" and gets to 1% after several minutes and then will not go any further.I have tried a completly different modle laptop and this images in about 5/6 minutes, so i cannot see it being an issue with the server.I have tried a different network card in the server and several recommendations off the Microsoft website, just incase it was a server issue but it has not worked? The imaging process works fine off USB Pen drive.I am completly stumped as what to do.Any help would be much appreciated. Many ThanksChris
LiverpoolChris
Just an Update...I have now tried using the drvload.exe command and injected the vista driver in PE succesfully, So i presume that it is using a similar driver but one that does not work properlly...The Vista drivers are injected into the boot imageIs there a way to find out which drivers it is using and delete the one that is not working properly? so that it will use the correct one? Many Thanks
cluberti
If you slipstream the Vista network driver into the boot WinPE you're hosting on the WDS server, it should use that rather than an inbox OEM driver.
