ramcrash Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 Good afternoon, At the school where he worked, there was a tool that is called Microsoft Server School, which opened to automatically create accounts for students and teachers, I now work for a company and tried the tool and found not know if it's intended for education. Anyway there is a tool to do the same, ie in order to create accounts and assign policies detrmine you with certain automatically to a group without having to make one to one? In most case they aren't really needed as dsadd can easily create account dsmod can easy modify account and then you can create a batch for your accounts creations/modifications. Here is a tutorial from MS: manage active directory from command lineif you prefer vbs script it is also quite easy. cluberti Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 If you want a pre-made tool, there are lots of them out there (just use the internet and search). If you're talking about using something like a script or an HTA to do this, those exist as well (again, search the 'net - they're out there). Creating user accounts from a template using a script or HTA is not difficult, and there are full-blown Win32 and MMC apps as well (some free, most not) that can do this as well.
