Hello I'm new. And I have a (dumb?) question.

So recently for the hell of it I decided to install Windows 98 on a desktop that I hardly use for nostalgia's sake.

Well after installing and getting it online I decided to do some research and found what people are still doing with 98 and this website.

This is where I am running into a problem so far.

I want to download KernelEx and I got the unicows download, but I am not sure exactly where I am supposed to install the DLL. to.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, and welcome!!

Just drop them in your "C:\windows\system" directory and reboot.

Yeah I found that out but thanks anyways!

It's been a long time since I've had to manually do things on a computer and I seem to have lost my touch.
