update stuck at 0%

Hi folks i wonder if someone could help me out with something.

Using Vista HP sp2

I have been trying to download the latest updates i managed to get 1 so far but now nothing. It goes through the motions but it just stays stuck downloading at 0%. it does not mater if it is one update or the whole seven of them.

I have tried clearing my temp folders, and such. This is really doing my head in now.

So any help is greatly received.

Its ok no need to bother i just reinstalled windows instead, i got fed up waiting.
