XP slipstreaming

Hello, I'm trying to slipstream SATA drivers to an unpacked install disk of XP, all on an OS (which I know how to use) which can't use Nlite.

I've found this, thanks to Wayback, and have only 2 questions:

1. How do I apply these drivers to the TXTSETUP.SIF file?

2. Do I have to remove any lines of information in the TXTSETUP.SIF file?

(I do commend anyone whose confused by this possibly vague post, to ask me to make further details, as I dumbfoundedly lost the original draft of this post in a mess of firefox tabs, and am too p***ed off to fully rewrite all the details from scratch.)
