TxPaul Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Built an SLP disc using the RVM Integrator and added the OEMScan add-on v 1.4.1 last as instructed. Tried an install and things seemed to be running well, but then I got the message "Error #5. OEM Logo Copy cannot continue. Could not find any OEM logo files in D:\OEM\Logos\is. Could not complete script." I have logos in the logos folder of the add-on tool. I've read the read me text, but I guess I'm just having a dumb moment. Am I supposed to add the logos somewhere besides the "logos" folder in the add-on? Right now I have nothing in either the themes or the walls folders, but there is a logo (bmp) for the manufacturer in the folder for each company. (In other words, inside the Logos folder I have 6 folders, one for each company I want included in my disc. When I open each of those folders, I see folders for walls and themes, an OEM ini file, an OEM.bmp file, and a read me.txt. This is the way the add-on downloaded). My CD-rom is D:\. Should I put the bmp into the walls folder? I don't have any jpgs. Should I convert the bmps to jpgs and leave that outdie the walls and themes folders, and move the bmp into the walls folder? XP did install, but I have the message my copy of Windows has 30 days to be activated. <sigh> And a final question - should I have my real COA number in my WINNT.sif file? I thought you had to have the real one there, but when I check the new load my real COA number is the number that appears. I expected the OEM add-on to overwrite that. The OEM add-on script did indicate (before it stopped at the logo part) that it had successfully found and matched the OEM file. So I don't know if the fact that the script could not run all the way caused the failure, or if I should remove the real COA number from the WINNT.sif file. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.
