XP - Close Lid behavior based on Plugged In status

I want the following behavior from my WinXP+SP3 laptop:

(1) "'Stand By' when I close the lid of my portable computer AND when computer is Running on batteries"

(2) "'Do Nothing' when I close the lid of my portable computer AND when my computer is Plugged in"

That is to say, I want the close lid behavior to depend on whether the laptop is plugged in. I know this feature is available in Vista, but it's not obviously available in WinXP. Is there any way to get this behavior? I've done a bunch of searching and had no success.
