blastedfury Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Ok hope someone can help, I have a very simple setupnetgear router connected to the internet and a windows server 2003 server running dhcp, dns and ad. I've setup routing and remote access for vpn using a static address pool of 10.1.0.1 to 10.1.0.10. The lan address are assigned by dhcp of 192.168.0.0. I can connect to the vpn server remotely but i cannot access anything on the remote network except the vpn server. I tried creating a static route from the vpn addresses to the internal network but that made no difference (no sure if i did it correctly).Could some one give me some advice on what i need to do to access the remote network.
dubsdj Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Sounds like a Subnet issue. I don't know if your issue is the same as what I had but when I couldn't ping anything even though it said I was connected, it was to do with my subnets being different.Just incase it might be that..
