cluberti Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 2GB would be fine for x64 Vista on a desktop, but a laptop probably not so much. If it was Win7 you'd probably have better luck, but most likely the reason your laptop came with x86 instead of x64 Vista was likely down to drivers and the amount of RAM they installed.
