3.Disconnect the schema master domain

I am trying to extend my AD schema and Microsoft says to do the following:

3. Disconnect the schema master domain controller from the network. (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680608.aspx)

How/where is this done? I have brought up dsa.msc but I don't see where you do this.
