My new system having 1.8 ghz celeron processor asus p5gc-mx with 1gb of ram , 160 gb of segate hard disk has a problem during windows setup.When every i try to install windows xp by booting from cd it hang during the "Startup is starting windows"I change hard disk, ram process but non of this work for me.. what's the problem.....??can you guys help me... XP Setup has these stages:Text Mode - format hard drive, copy filesSetup Wizard - prompts for product key, admin pass, etcGraphical Mode - detects network adapters, other hardware, etcOOBE "Out Of Box Experience" - create user accounts, activateMy guess is it freezes after the setup wizard when detecting other hardware.[moving to xp forum] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
