Hi,

we are going to migrate from Notes to Outlook / Exchange. We have about 600 Clients with Office 2002 Std installed without Outlook.

My job is to rollout just Outlook 2003 or a complete update to Office 2003.

Therefore I have customized and tested two 2003 silent installations. The first should install Office 2003 full. This works fine on new computers.

But on existing 2002 installations, the mst-file will be ignored and the setup run an update of all existing applications. Outlook is missing.

The second should install only Outlook 2003 on computers who have Office 2002 installed. Same mistake; just updateing all existing office-products.

No Outlook.

The mst-file and all the configuration must be ok, I think. But is this the right way for an update?

Any tipps would be appreciated...

thanks, frank
